El vaquero Mexican Restaurant. Is a a story of going after your dreams. And working hard to be able to achieve them. I Jesus Aguallo, and my family came from the great state of Zacatecas. I loved cooking and all of our family loved helping with recipes of our authentic exquisite food. We lived in California for many years when we came from our native home in Mexico. For many years that we lived there I always wanted to open up a restaurant, or a store, that had a lot of ingredients that were from my original home in Mexico. It was not until my family and I decided we needed a change in our life. So we decided to move to Utah. I started working hard and that is when I decided why not open up a Mexican Restaurant and a store as well. I started putting my ideas into work, and soon in the year 2006 that is when we first opened up. Me and my family love making food and getting to talk to new people everyday. And most importantly getting to do something that we love. And that is why in El Vaquero we make our food very authentic to show our costumers the true heritage of our beloved Mexico.
